The show’s host Carrie Underwood recently announced her husband, actor Michael Underwood, will be traveling to the Lone Star State this month for a visit to get his concealed carry license.
Underwood is in the midst of filming a new episode of his sitcom, “Portlandia,” which he will co-star in and executive produce with his wife, Cara Delevingne.
The episode, titled “I Do, I Do,” will air in early September.
Carrie Underwoods, in an interview with ABC News, said the trip will give her and her husband a chance to visit with people they might otherwise miss during the show’s hiatus.
Carrie said she is very excited to be traveling for her and Michael’s wedding anniversary, which will be held in Los Angeles in late 2018.
She said she hopes her husband’s visit will also allow her to be more accessible to people who may not be as open to carrying guns as she is.
“We really want to make sure that there’s people out there who really want a chance at being able to get a permit,” she said.
Carrie Underton, who has been a public figure for her work in the music industry, was born in Los Angles, California, but moved to Portland, Oregon, when she was a teenager. “
You’re not going to see a lot of people carrying guns in this country, so we’re going to be making sure that people are aware that they should be careful.”

She has been in the spotlight since becoming the face of “Portland’s Got Talent” and her show has garnered a record-breaking 1.2 million viewers a night.
Undercover-style episodes have been filmed in Portland, including one in which Underwood’s character was caught with a loaded .38 caliber revolver hidden under a backpack.
She also stars in a series of YouTube videos, including “Bondage,” in which she is shown performing sex acts in the nude and in public.
She is currently filming a third season of “American Idol.”
“Portland is a beautiful city,” she told ABC News in February.
“I love the people and the people love me.”
She added that the show will be filmed in the city’s downtown area, which is also home to many homeless people.
“It’s a very diverse city,” Underwood said.
The Underwoods are expecting their first child, named Sophia, in late 2019.
“This is a really special moment in our lives and the birth of our first child,” Carrie Undertree said.
