Carrie is in town!
Here are a few of the things you need to know about the starlet’s appearance in Vegas this weekend: 1.
Carrie will be appearing on The View tonight.
The show will feature Carrie’s former co-stars, Sarah Chalke and Jessica Simpson.
The stars will be getting married.
The two-time Oscar winner and “The View” alum will wed Carrie in a private ceremony.
It’s not a wedding!
The couple is still “keeping it real” and they plan to stay private in the event of an official announcement, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
Carrie is the only celebrity couple to date to announce a public wedding.
Carrie’s co-star Sarah Chalkelley and Simpson are expecting a baby girl, according to The New York Post.
Carrie and Simpson have been engaged for two years.
“We’re so blessed and grateful to have such a loving, supportive and supportive family that we’ve built together,” Simpson said.
Carrie recently signed on for a three-episode arc on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which premieres later this month.
The actress has been married to her longtime friend Jason Alexander since January 2017.
The “Real Housewives” star said she’s already been “wonderful” and that her wedding is “just the start.”
She also said she was looking forward to her “biggest moment in my life.”
Carrie will be making her “own way” as a celebrity in the coming months.
“I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it until I get older and wiser and wiser,” she said.
“My dream is to have this wonderful life, to have friends and family.
And to have my baby.”
Carrie will not be returning to the show, though, as she recently wrapped production on her film “I Love You, Daddy.”
Carrie has been starring in two episodes of “The Real Housewife of Beverly Hill” this season, but her co-anchor, Sarah Chayes, has also moved on.
She will be hosting the season finale of “RHOBH” on February 16.
Carole has recently received an “honorary Oscar” for her performance in “The Walk,” a film that premiered in the 1970s.
She won an Emmy for her role in the film in 1997.
The star recently appeared in “I Am Not Your Negro,” a documentary about the civil rights movement.
She was also honored with an Emmy in 2017 for her “Hollywood” performance in the “Star Wars” movies.
Carrie, who was also the first African-American actress to be nominated for an Emmy and an Oscar, said that she believes “there’s a lot of work to be done” to make the world a more equal place.
She added that it was “disheartening” that “the American people have a perception of us as a race-based group and are constantly on our toes about race.”
“I’m proud of myself,” she continued.
“But I think that we all need to realize that race doesn’t define us.
We’re all people of color, and that’s what makes us special.”
